STAR BIOGRAPHY

Carib Music Group is proud to Represent the young upcoming Dancehall Artist Star. Born and raised in Clarendon Jamaica, Star had a passion for music at a very young age. She was inspired by some of the world’s most renounced Dancehall artists some of which include: Buju Banton, Beenie man, Lady Saw, Patra and others.

After leaving Jamaica in 2001 Star is now currently residing in the U.S in New York.

She acquired skills by singing and Djing in competition with her fellow school mates in cafeterias and hallways.

Star is very much involved in the Dancehall lifestyle, she parties at least three times a week. Many of these parties she attends she is requested to perform on the Mic at TOP Clubs like Nakisaki, Island Rock, Giggles, Rubies and Ice, Universal Resort, Café Alta and more.

Although she hasn’t had a release yet, her Myspace, facebook,and hi5 sites have a huge amount of Hits comparable to Top Artists!

She gets applauded at all the Live venues she performs at and gets constant requests for return dates. She also hosts a dancehall TV show (It dat TV) Sats 12-1am, and a radio show on JLR Radio.com on Thursdays 8-1 1pm, playing the hypest reggae.
