Carib Music Group is Proud to Represent Aschadan on our Roster of Artists. When Meeting Aschadan for the first time it is easy to conclude that he looks and sounds too good to be true. His clean cut looks, his well trimmed, athletic physique that speaks of regularhours at the gym, his total emersion into the Reggae Dancehall Tradition, and the fact that he hails from Saint Lucia, which has yet to produce a Reggae Dancehall Artist of International acclaim, may all contribute to doubting that he is for real. However, if Aschadan sounds too good to be true, it could be because he is a natural. The thing about naturals is that they are built, whatever the environment in which they are raised or whatever is inside of them has made them ideally suited for the activity in question. So it is as if they were made for that purpose alone. This appears to be true. It Is as if he was born to be a Reggae Dancehall Artist, and to make sure he fulfilled this destiny, his parents sired an older brother who when Aschadan was six or seven years old, was very much a Dancehall performer, and so represented Aschadan’s first introduction to Dancehall Music. And to seal the deal, his parents named him Aschadan, a stage name that many Artist’s would be happy to carry. In fact many who come across Aschadan mistakenly take his given name as an adopted stage name. With releases such as “Legacies”, “Shadows After Dark” ,” Dip Low”, “Where ever you are” and recently “That Thing you Need,” Aschadan continues to keep his mark on the St Lucian, and now Regional music industry. As a mark of his versatility, Aschadan Music isn’t all about parties, Ladies and fun, he also demonstrates the serious side of life as evident in his Blazing music video “Legacies,” which he dedicated to his father who passed away in August of 2007.The track was written soon after the Artist’s father passed away & the video shows the exact place his father was buried, and also pays tribute to all Aschadan’s loved ones who passed away, as mentioned in the song. The ever popular DJ, as we say it in the Caribbean, describing persons who sing Dancehall music, continues to dazzle the nation since this video release, which spent months on Regional stations through out the Caribbean, including at the Top of MTV TEMPO. Currently the Artist is working on his Debut Album, and is set to drill fans with another Blazing video, entitled "Dip Low" A brand new Dancehall Track, making head ways on St. Lucian Radio, The Video will consist of various Dancing styles and techniques with a twist of freestyle and choreography. Aschadan has emerged as an Artist which demands the big stages, and has performed along side Reggae acts such as I-Wayne, Gyptian and Recently Sherwin Winchester. Aschadan hopes to transcend mainstream with his music, and is clearly one of the leading Dancehall Artists, making an impact on the Lucian Industry while constantly appearing on St Lucian News Papers and TV Stations.
